I know we are almost a week into May, but here is a list of some of the great things to do around Tampa for the remainder of the month. With summer rushing at us all at full speed, now is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the weather before it starts to get oppressively hot out there. This month’s events kick off tonight with a public watch party of the Lightning’s fourth game against the Islanders, then things get into the full swing of Mother’s Day with pops in the park and free admissions and the month wraps up with opportunities to prepare for the hurricane season, shop the latest in boats and fishing, taste the offerings of our fair city and to run with a crowd. Whatever you choose to do with your free time this month, remember to be good to the moms in your life on Sunday, say thanks to those that serve or served on Memorial Day and be good to one another always.
