The month of summer vacations and Independence Day is upon us and has brought with it hot days and only slightly less hot nights.  Whether you are ready to beat the heat this month or just give in and sweat it out, there are plenty of great indoor and outdoor activities happening in the Tampa area this month.  July offers multiple indoor events to stay cool including watching movie classics in the dark cold of a timeless theater as well as free Slurpee day (at 7-Eleven on 7/11). And for those looking to enjoy the heat or to outright defy it, Tampa has many outdoor activities ranging from a leisurely stroll through an open market to the aptly named Run Thru Hell. However you want to spend your July, make it a great one, remember to commemorate our nation’s independence and be good to one another.
